Melbourne has an extensive Metlink road and transport system incorporating trams, trains, buses and river ferries. The Metlink ticketing system allows multiple journeys using the complete Metlink transport network. Trams are the most convenient form of transport in Melbourne's CBD,  however it is important you carry coins with you as notes are not accepted by the ticketing machine onboard. There is also a free City Circle Tram Loop and bus services encompassing access to Melbourne’s central tourist attractions, retail outlets, hotels and congress venues accessible to all delegates.

Melbourne International Airport is between 20 and 30 minutes (peak hour) travel time to the city centre/Convention Centre via City Link Expressway and is served by 23 international carriers. The airport is also served by three major domestic airlines, offering over 1,000 flights per week to all major cities and leisure destinations and is within 1 – 2 hours flying time to over 80% of Australia’s population.

Visa Options:
There are currently two possible visa options for the participants:
(1) An electronic short stay validity business visa (ETA 977) or
(2) A short stay business visa.
Countries whose residents are eligible for ETA 977 are listed in the document and this is readily applied for online or by your travel agent when you purchase a return airfare.
